It is a fact that the principle of "hands face space" will be an important part of the routine however, it is evident that there's an increase in confidence and a desire to connect face-to face. Rotary is indeed changing. It is still unclear how the service we provide to others can be incorporated into the highly coveted connections between people which Rotary members enjoyed in the prior years. Although the mantra of hands faces will certainly remain a part of our daily practice, it's evident that trust is growing and connections between face-to-face are happening. Rotary's changed. Man volunteers clean up trash. The network of Rotary builds lasting relationships epidemic was the catalyst that brought us into the world of technology this Rotary world. We've improved our methods of holding the business meetings online' whilst reintroducing activities for service and social in a safe face-to-face format. These new options were accompanied by our best pre-pandemic practices to create a new and promising outlook for Rotary. It was encouraging to learn that 75% of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business like usual" activities. During the summer the majority of Rotary club members have been seen in the public, focusing their attention on a variety of initiatives, including beach and river cleanings and litter pick-ups. In the Rotary Survey It was encouraging to observe that a majority of the members are continuing with their previous projects and activities that have benefited the communities of Great Britain. It's great to know that the Rotary support centre team provides important resources to assist with the maintenance and promotion of infrastructure and keeping both members and the public protected. The need for insurance and compliance is essential. It is incredible to see the way our members are able to come up with creative solutions to some of the most difficult issues. I'm so grateful to be a part of the team. Rotary offered me the opportunity to join in 2002. Rotary gave me a trusted group of people who share my interests which has led to the creation of friendships that are genuine.
